Arrival of Exhibitors
Bucharest's time zone is GMT+2h or EST+7h, so jet lag may be quite a problem for long distance travelers. We recommend you plan to arrive by Thursday evening, October 28th 2010, or Friday morning, October 29th 2010.
Booth Setup
The booths area will be open to exhibitors for setup on:
- Friday afternoon, October 29th 2010 between 13:00 - 18:00 in Bucharest
- Monday November 1st between 15:00 - 18:00 and Tuesday November 2nd between 08:00 - 09:30 in Cluj-Napoca
Exhibitors are required to finish the setup of their booth by the end of that period. Exhibitors will not be allowed in the exhibition area before 9:00 AM in Bucharest and before 8:00 AM in the Cluj-Napoca edition.
Fair Hours
The exhibition area will be open to visitors on:
- Saturday, October 30th and Sunday, October 31st, between 10:00 and 18:00 in Bucharest
- Tuesday, November 2nd, between 10:00 and 18:00 in Cluj-Napoca.
Exhibitors are required to be present in their booths by 9:30 AM the latest and not to leave earlier than 18:00. Failure to comply with the timetable might lead to undesirable consequences (for details you may see the Terms and Conditions for Exhibitors).
Workshops/Seminars/Conferences/Round Tables/Book Launches
A series of events will take place during the days of the fair in the three editions. Exhibitors may take part in these events provided that at least one representative of their institution is present at their booth.
Private Sessions
Private Sessions can be scheduled with the organizers during the fair hours depending on the availability of the conference rooms. Once scheduled, the Private Sessions cannot be canceled.
Cocktail
The main social event organized for exhibitors is the cocktail party in the evening of Saturday, October 30th 2010. The cocktail is offered by the organizers for exhibitors, deans and rectors of Romanian universities, principals of the best high-schools in Romania, officials of the Ministry of Education and other members of the Romanian Government, media partners, financial sponsors, other partners and supporters of the event. Participation is not mandatory but we encourage you to come. The cocktails offered on the occasion of past RIUF editions were great socializing and networking events and a lot of fun.
